My poor baby...
I seriously wonder what's wrong with my body, I've been sleeping for at least 12+++ hours straight. And I do not wake up refreshed. I wake up feeling tired after I've had food and then I go back to sleep until the next day. Gah...remind me again never to screw my body up. Sigh, I hope this whole thing doesn't last for long. I want my normal life back please.
So I've been having a rather bad week. I was rushing to complete the first of many projects presentation. I won't lie and say that I didn't expect the low standard of work but seriously, it still hurts slightly when the lecturer says, "I'm disappointed with your boards."
Compared to the other three teams, mine seem incomplete. Heck, I wasn't satisfied with it myself but what can I do? We did the boards an hour before submission. And even after pasting the boards with the necessary information, it seemed barely completed so I did a sketch and just slapped it on. T.T To think that I've not had enough sleep - it was a miracle I didn't collapse.
Finished the presentation itself 5 minutes before we were due to go up. Swell huh? For the presentation itself, it was fine to me. But I got dissed for using the word, 'splendiferous'. T.T Wth man. It only means extravagantly showy. Sigh...
'What is the meaning of splendiferous? Is it splendid iron? You know they call iron ferrous right?'
'But Maam, that's f-e-r-r-o-u-s.'That's different.
'Then does it mean splendid forest?'
'No, it's a word meaning very very showy, extravagant.'
'Oh...'

"Next time, I like the idea of a splendid forest (huh?)but you should use the term splendid-forest instead splendiferous"
"Maam, it's an actual English word."
"Then what does it mean? Does it come from the words splendid and something else? Can you please find out?"
However, I do think it's time to get my MS Office updated. Seriously, I think if you were in the lecturer's position and you've seen what my group came up with, you'd have failed us. No shit. But at least, she gave me an extension for the design journal so hopefully, it'll pull us up. (But who am I kidding?) Of course, I did explain the situation so I do hope that it's taken into consideration. Seriously, I pray the other two start to pull their weight. I am bloody determined to make sure that I graduate with a 3.5. They will NOT screw my life up.
After the presentation, had lunch at Seah Im where I found Thaksin's Beef Noodles Stall (the one at the airport's been closed so I was rather glad to see the stall.). Had Pad Thai and then headed to Vivo to walk off lunch before heading home and not waking up until the next day. Sorry Bryan for cancelling on ya! Hope things look up for you dearie.
Yesterday's dinner with the Rabbit Crew went very well. We spent 14 bucks or so but it was well worth it. XD After dinner, we headed to HMV where I found Singapore's ONLY Battle single Step by Step. Gah, I want it but I'm so freaking broke. Oh well...
Then we headed to PS and we did an impromptu dance video. Rofl. It was highly entertaining and memorable. How many people can say that they've done what we've done? Hehe.

I'm off to rush off my ethics essay. I've finally decided to do it on abortions and maybe paternity rights. Sigh...I wish I could clone myself.

Also, there is this insane urge for me to churn out a fic but I've got no ideas and I'm supposed to have quit writing. Damn you urge!!!
