virginangelicI just realised I've been sighing for the past couple of entries - I'm starting to sound like an old wrinkly elderly man or something. Bleh. I'm not THAT old yet!
I tried to stay away from the net and LJ and I guess this entry answers the question regarding the success of the matter. But at the very least, I feel as though I'm connected to people! Can't wait for school to starts.
Thus, the essential school rant:
1) My timetable has a module I've passed in year 1. If they're expecting me to retake that particular module, environmental science, I think I'll seriously consider murder. Come on, I practically passed the damn module!(top of class I might add)
Environmental science is essentially a refresher module for all of us. Heck, for projects, we had to present on three problems faced by the world, namely global warming, scarcity of water and agriculture.
Sigh. And to think my advisor won't be in his office until the first day of school so the majority of the class is in limbo.
2) I think it's ridiculous that some of my lecturers have yet to be confirmed. Okay, so just two. I swear my timetable is slightly screwed up. But I'm not complaining. At the very least, I can rush home on alternate Wednesdays and catch Vitamin. I'm hooked on the info-tainment show on KBS.
3) I wonder if I can even sell off my old books. *crosses fingers* Then I can get a HD by the next IT fair in June. Of course I gotta keep my lips sealed from my parents. I've yet to tell them about the spoilt XD card, the extra XD card, the actual amount of my digital camera and the list goes on.
I think that's the last bits. I'd better get cracking on my landscape plans. Bleh. And I'm starting to believe in astrology - The Jupiter Retrogade is here so it's best to tighten those belts and take care of your finances. Why? Somehow, it's just too much of a coincidence for a LOT of household appliances and other gadgetry to fail all within a week!
First, there was the hot water dispenser, then there was the TV and now my handphone. *grumbles* What's next? (I don't even want to entertain that thought.)
Oh well. Gotta look on the bright side of life - the LCD flat screen telly's coming over at 6! I can't wait! Oh shit. If they don't install the tv by 9pm, I'm screwed because Dalja's Spring airs as the same time as Heroes! Argh...
And I seriously better take a picture before I get my haircut. The final moments of a long-haired me. I've decided to just get a damn wig instead of growing out my own hair. Someone could get me a black long-haired one for my birthday but who am I kidding?! I'm expecting a box of *shudders* gag gifts instead. Last year, my classmate got a male friend of his Kotex. Poor guy...
EDIT: The damn barber just closed shop. The entire place was in a mess. So my hair stays...and I'm hating it. I guess I'll have to do it tmr.
