Hey all. My first ever lj entry.

Yesterday's oscars were a MAJOR upset. Sure, I'm thrilled that Ang Lee won for best director (he deserves it) but for a few categories, I totally disagree.

Best Actress in a Leading role

and 

Best Feature Film.

Sure, everyone says the best actress award was sort of a battle between only resee and felicity but I truly believe that felicity should have won!

And for best feature, enough said. I was so shocked when they announced crash, the remote controls fell down in a crash. (thankfully, they weren't damaged)

I mean BBM should have won! I guess the panel just isn't ready for a gay film being the conservatives that they are...

I had a fun time dissing the women's gowns. Call me names for all I care. The guys's clothes are so bloody boring, I wonder if they know that other colours exist other than white and the absence of colours. is it just me or are they all heading to some sort of a funeral?!  people, sept 11 was five years ago! let's move on for everyone's sake.

And again, one major shock. For once John Williams didn't win for best score! 

And can someone shut jon steward up? His jokes are barely funny. Get me billy crystal or chris rock. or better yet, BOTH of them!

The two parodies were hilarious though.

And yes, I'm headed to poly. I'll tell you about the horror stories soon. just not tmr!

Yup, tmr, I'll be BACK in the arms of my children! Until friday at least!

And then on sun Lokfung's back! Ta pao man! Ta pao man! Wonder if it's a good idea to go to the airport and greet him with tapao-ed foodstuff like paos.
