Revelations.
May. 31st, 2007 10:46 amPhew. Finally all my common tests are over! Sure, there were some questions that were all too confusing to the point that I just selected b. (I read somewhere that for most mcq, most of the answers are b. It's a theory that works for me so why bother fixing what's not broken?)
I pray that I get reasonable marks for a badly well done presentation. There goes my marks for plant genetics. I hope I improve my presentation skills for friday's landscape site analysis presentation.
So let's see, with the whole brooha over suspended accounts with risque interest, I almost toyed with the idea of going on a lockdown but I realised it was stupid. After all, we're living in the wired world where anything and everything is within a click of a mouse so why bother? It's a free world! I'm actually wondering if this will blow up into the real world. After all, many users are looking into filing lawsuits and what nots. XD Ridiculous I tell you.
Finally finished watching Hello! Miss. Didn't really like certain aspects of the drama due to the fact that there were several loose ends left hanging like the ditzy friend; how did Ryan's character know that it was Flower and so on. It had potential but at least it wrapped up the end quite nicely between the two leads. It's been a long time since I've seen a Korean wedding (the first being Goong) so I can say I'm sated.
Now, I'll just get hooked on Mah wang (The Devil or Lucifer). Lovely suspense thriller whodunnit drama. Of course, curiosity got the best of me and I already know the shocking ending but now I need to watch it to the end.
Btw, this year bevy of Ms Universe candidates were amongst the more beautiful (aesthetically) lot, compared to say, last year? I would say that I'm quite satisfied with this year's contestants. Well, except for my own country's candidiate of course. Seriously, did you know that there was no sponsors for her outfit and they had to have an amateur designer to come up with it. I'm not saying that I'm not proud of the guy but come on, I see the Ms Universe as a tool to sell the country. Why not splurge a wee bit? I really really think that unless we have a candidate who can stand tall (literally) amonst her peers [at the very least, she should be their heights instead of being a midget like I am], let's not bother and withdraw. We'll just stare at the pretty human dolls!
I absolutely love the lavish costumes. Absolutely stunning pieces were on show. Loved Ms India's gown for its blend of East meets West, Ms Japan's unique gown and of course Ms Korea's. Oh god, someone get me a Ms Korea 07 doll please? However, I must say that I admire Ms USA's courage and determination to just go on despite falling on her butt (ouch anyone?) and being booed by the audience. [You audiences should be ashamed of yourselves by tarnishing your country's image and reputation!]. And she looked so young so I applaud her for handling things tactfully. If I was her, I might have cried or yelled at the crowd to shut the hell up. Gah, I'll make a very bad Ms Universe candidate. Hehe. If they ever allow boys to compete of course. But I think Heechul-shii would win hands down.
I can't wait for later - I'm going to the IT fair. I'm gonna grab me a HD and HELLO download heaven! Already my pictures of DongBang and SuJu are over 1GB alone. With music and videos and what nots, let's just say I've had the tough task of deleting some videos just to watch new ones.
Anyways, to all Buddhist, happy vesak day!
