I am a God.
A GOD.
Worshipped and adored
In shrines big and small
My name uttered in fear or in awe
Gold, silver were brought to me,
To appease me before my golden throne
Eight feet high and taller.
One smile could make millions swoon
Images created in mine -
Tis clear my star never shone brighter.
Now...
I don't even know where I stand.
I miss the attention, the fame, the adorations
I don't want to know how far I've fallen
I only know I'm reaching bottom soon
Forgotten.
It scares me.
