For the love of...

Today was my last lit class ever (since I'm not gonna pursue lit ever again, as much as i used to love the subject) and we were given a movie to comment on.

Of all movies, The King and the Clown?! >.< Sure, it's a somewhat accurate portrayal of Korean history (Choseon, I think) but i personally thought the homosexuality was overrated. Watching snippets made me happy - the whole movie in its entirety made me depressed.
And throughout the movie, I was restraining myself from screaming 'jaeho' and 'junki is NOT a girl damn it!'.
Commenting on cinematography of the film was challenging in my opinion since I've become a period drama junkie.

I'm hooked on The Great King Sejong now so I wasn't really able to pick up on a lot of things like how the clothes were different and all. I guess that's why I'll make a horrible Lit student - I can't analyze further and take most things at face value without thinking. (I've realised that this makes me sound dumb...)
Anywhos, there was this small discussion about whether or not Gong Gil and Jong San (the two clowns) were gay. Of course, while others were discussing, my mind was elsewhere, discussing whether or not my OTPs were real or was I reading too deep, which made me a tad down. Ridiculous huh?
Nevertheless, I enjoyed the movie because of its richness, in terms of costumes and set designs, its themes, its portrayal of the King and the politics within the Imperial Palace and so forth. And mostly because of Lee Junki.
Someone get me a Junki doll for my birthday, please?
Rofl. This post was made because I needed to rant. *insert evil cackle*
Ok, off to do last minute homework again. At the rate I'm going, I'm starting to wonder if I'll ever graduate.
