V-day approaches

Let's see...
Still trying hard to mug for the exams. I think worse comes to worse, I'm gonna flunk the biochem test and from there just pick myself up. There's just way too much distraction at home so it's off to mugging sessions with my study buddies hopefully something before the papers. If there's no session, then I'll just head to my aunt's place to study or something.
3 papers in less than a week and I've not studied fully for any! Sigh...the only thing in my head is well...the class chalet that's coming after the exams, the suju concert and valentine's day.
V-day's the day after tmr but I'm celebrating it in advance with the class. I've been wanting to continue the 'tradition' so to say of handing out sweets and stuff since Year 1 but time is never on my side. V-day always falls during a break. Thankfully, tmr we have to go back for the test. I can hand out my sweets! :)
It makes me all nostalgic now. Sigh...I remember the whole expenditure for V-day could come close to fifty dollars but it was for about 100 people so it was okay. Yes, I gave out small tokens of appreciation aka sweets to everyone in my sec 2 and sec 4 class from sec 3 onwards. Nanthini says I started the trend of handing it out personally. Me? XD
Anyways, I recall doing the preps at least a week in advance and then coming to school early and putting it on everyone's desk. And leaving notes on the board. THEN I'll go around with a bucket or bags and putting or throwing or exchanging stuff with other people.
"Happy V-day! Sweets from Khairul. (And then whoever else would add what they gave unless they wished to remain anonymous)"
What I liked about it was the fact that I got sweets in return. The bestest gift ever was Jules' letter. I still have it, kept it safe in my tin box. Of course, I still have the handwritten cards there too. Gah, now I feel like I have to read them all again.
This year, in poly, there's little V-day spirit since everyone's supposed to be mugging. I've spent a GRAND total of what? 5 bucks on EVERYTHING.
Kinda makes me yearn to make a larger batch but hey, I'm not that rich. Cash-strapped actually.
Off to study AFTER I dig out Jules' letter. It demands to be read.
Edit:
Still makes my insides tingle, opening the album. Yes, I keep my cards and letters in a photoalbum. Weird but yeah...XD
BEFORE I forget, there's the rumours that the A level results will be announced and released either this week or next so...
To all who's affected, I wish you the very best and I hope you get what you want. I'll be a text message away if you need me! :)
