I've survived...

So I've been on a rather strict self imposed hiatus for the past five days or so. It was supposed to be 5 days of NO internet whatsoever, no Kpop, no TV but it was tough.
In the end, I got my internet limited to just...emails and the school website to download past year papers. So it was the life of a wannabe mugger.
But the Kpop thing wasn't so hard. I was surprised I could even accomplish it.
The TV thing was...let's just say when you're studying in the living room, you can't quite avoid the TV. Still, anything's better than studying on the bed. Which was why my bedroom become sort of a locker room during the mugging period. I barely stepped into my room. And yes, that also meant that I was barely sleeping at all on a proper bed/mattress whatever you want.
Plant Pathology and Entomology was made of freakiness. I highly doubt anyone in class got the labelling of the grasshopper head correctly. NONE of us had expected it - we focused more on the side profile of its morphology instead. So to open the paper and to see the diagram for some 18 marks or something. from label a to label r.
And 'draw any two diagrams on the insect digestive system, nervous system or circulatory system' for 6 bloody marks.
Wth - that question should have gotten more marks instead. >.<
Pathology was okay I guess had I NOT freaked out when I read the first question. "Explain the concept of STRESS in plants."
Perhaps it's a psychological problem but I know I almost lost it and laughed. One of these days, it won't surprise me if I'm writing this within the cell walls of a mental asylum. Hehe. Cell Wall. XD Ok, I'm just being ridiculous but forgive me - my exams just ended and I'll be bound to be throwing terminologies around.
Anywhos, IF there were 48 hours in a day, I think I could have done better for Planting and Maintenance paper. It was the BEST paper since it was mostly application based questions. Due to the fact that the paper was less than 24 hours after pathology, my head was still swimming with pathology and entomology terms and processes and stuff. Still, the planting paper is the only paper I'm confident of scoring.
Then it was 2 days later before the dreaded, horrible Biochem Paper so I had enough sleep for one day. With biochem being the dry subject that it was, I tried to mug but it only made me fall asleep a couple of times. Thank god for the infrequent smses my classmates were sending- they wake me up each time.
When I sat for the paper, let's just say I thought I was taking the wrong paper. Nothing made sense. Well, they did but any semblance of what was on the paper and what I studied seemed light years away. I HATED the fact that short notes meant half a page. The paper was a true killer. And some of my classmates who really needed to pass the paper couldn't complete it. Me? I barely finished in time. If I HAD time to check, I'd have saved me from getting confused with the role of Auxin and Cytokinin.
10 marks gone just like that.
But the end of the paper certainly was a joyous moment, regardless of the results. That's a different matter for another time. Went to town after the papers ended where we settled on lunch, went wandering around almost aimlessly, planned for our upcoming chalet and then I headed home. Well, more like completed my errand first before I headed home and became dead to the world until 8 plus, 9.
It was utterly, completely lovely to have a song dedicated to you. Well, it was dedicated to the whole class but Ang Shuey Ting you sweet thing, it was da bomb! <3
AND they pronounced my name correctly for which I'm highly thankful for. :)
Now, I'm off to sleep and hopefully catch up on what I've missed.
