virginangelicIt's FINALLY Saturday.
And happy belated birthday to Jonghoon and Hongki.
I had initially planned an entire itienary for day which includes a run, a spate of window shopping and of course, school. Not to mention clear up my room. Maybe I'm just being lazy but all my desire to do just that has dissipated. All I want to do is to just wait for my dad to be back with brunch and then it's off to school and back again. I'm not certain if I even want to jostle with the crowd at Suntec for the IT Fair. Stupid xD card just had to get corrupted.
I'm starting to hate crowds after I've started attachments. After five days on the job, I wouldn't say that it's that terrible - well, at least my supervisor, boss and co-workers are all generally pleasant people. Best bit? I've discovered that I can now differentiate a 2mm and a 3mm bar since I've been busy punching numbers this entire week. And it's bound to continue. Afterall, that's what a Quantity Surveyor does.
The office is located within the same building as OG shopping centre. You'd think that a shoppaholic like me would tour the place for kicks during lunch breaks and after work, but after work, I'm so bushed, I don't even want to head anywhere other than compass point to grab dinner and just say hello to my bed. Strange since I'm not doing any menial work - it's all just calculating and calculating. Guess I can't be an accountant huh?
I hope those who received their A level slips yesterday were somewhat happy with their results. If not, then cheer up because there will always be another time to prove yourself. I'm trying hard to remember what my ex-principal said but I just cannot remember anything other than 'the roads are never straight, they branch and fork' or something to that extent.
I just went blog hopping and while it's great to know that some are already well on their way to achieving their goals or embarking on new paths, it's somewhat...disheartening to note that I don't even know if I even want to stay in the industry.
