virginangelicToday started off on a rather uneventful note. Woke up late, had breakfast before I went out to the supermart to buy 3 large tins of biscuits and cakes. Grabbed Chocopies when I saw them. (Does Lotte's Chocopies and Oricon's Chocopies taste the same? I have no idea...I grabbed Lotte's because it was cheaper)
Anyways, headed to Dhoby where I found a lone, forlorn maiden sitting on the ground, bored stiff, waiting for over an hour. Gah...SO SORRY Shiyun-jie!
Had lunch at Long John as we waited for Weiting to arrive. Zhi Kai didn't come (something about a soccer tournament). So Kuan-jie didn't come (Because she thought it was cancelled. *sigh* I miss her)
Headed to Spotlight after that to determine what to get for OCS, Kuan-jie and ZK. XD *petitions for Fish oil for ZK*
Went to watch the latest summer blockbuster to hit the cinemas - Spiderman 3. Suffice to say, all that hype is worth it. However, at times, the shots just moved too fast, which wasn't to my liking. Still, I totally recommend this movie because it really makes you wonder about all the gray areas in life. There's something for almost everyone in this latest and hopefully final installment of the web-slinger. So those of you sensitive souls out there, please do remember that a packet of tissue is mandatory. You'll use it, trust me. I know I did. I won't give away any more details other than the CGIs and special effects were spectacularly done. Worth the $9.50 I spent. Absolutely love it. If they come up with Spidey 4, I'll be rather hesistant to go and watch it for the simple reason that you don't mend what's not broken.
Now I just gotta wait for the final installment of Pirates of the Caribbeans. The trailer's hilarious AND when Chow Yun Fatt says..."Welcome to Singapore," my heart pounded. This small red dot got a mention on a blockbuster no less! Judging by the trailer alone, I'm all braced up for more action and suspense!
And I finally took the plunge.
I cut my hair. Not sure if it looks good on me though.
When I got home, imagine my utmost joy to discover that - my entry into the April writing contest formiracle______ was accepted.
Imagine my further joy when I found out SuJu's in US AND there's new pictures to download. I'm a semi-stalker so sue me.
BESTEST BESTEST BESTEST bit? The SuJu hwating project has been passed to Kangin personally. And soompi has the pictures to prove it. I'm too lazy to upload so you just gotta take my word for it. Sigh...what a wonderful day...
Though now, I'm actually fearful that tomorrow, might not be a good day. Bleh. It could happen you know...having your special day being totally crappy. You know how things work - you win some, you lose some.
And yes, sadly, bad things happen to good people too.
On a sidenote: I'm not sure to feel insulted, sad or glad that my father thinks today's my birthday. T.T When it's tomorrow.
