Freaking writer's block

Writers block
Is the bane of plenty around the world
It can strike at any moment,
And the end may never come for some

People have plenty of ways
To overcome this mental disease
From multi-tasking to drinking
Alas, nothing seems to work for me

Tis' a pity,
There is no cure
And there never will be.

I'm trying my hardest to write something decent but all I can come up with are one-liners, or worse just mangled bits of a story, strung together loosely in my head. I need to write asap. I've got deadlines to meet. Argh.

haha, i understand how you feel. i wrote a poem about writer's block too (dated 1st April 2007, there is no significance in it being April Fools' Day).

It was more like scolding myself really, instead of just signing it off as impossible. cos' cliche as it sounds, nothing is impossible, and to be in a state of "nothingness" is impossible, cos' there will always be something. er... am i making sense?

In any case, here's for motivation. YOU CAN DO IT!
