Sipping coffee in the rain

virginangelicToday was completely eventful. That's an understatement.
I admit I'm a lazy arse - I actually stayed in bed for about 15 minutes after being woken up and before I knew it, I was asleep again and woke up about 45 minutes later. Making me somewhat late for pruning session to be done as last minute touch up for the launch of CWP. (Because I was supposed to help Saiful with pruning the shrubs at 8). It was cancelled in the end.
So I came around 8.15am - the walk to the park though was utterly pleasant with the somewhat fresher air, less traffic and more wildlife sounds. Spent about 5 minutes poking around the leaves to find a darn beetle for my insect collection project. Damn insect woman.
Being unsuccessful, I headed towards the playground where the tents were and i got one of the rudest shock of my life. Practically everyone was there. In our horrendous off tan/brown tees. It seems that we're supposed to be gathered by 8.30am but I disseminated the wrong information. Ah, my humblest apologies!
And nipple man (whom shall not be named) seemed to be in a weird mood. Berated me for not being there for rehearsal yesterday and nonsense of that magnitude. Honey, we're in different classes for god's sake. So we have different roles and different information. Ever considered that my class doesn't NEED rehearsals because we're not doing anything major like ushering? You sub-human dork. XD
Ok, being mean. But moving on. So we were in charge of the school booth (as per usual - I think I can sell my course man! I've done this three times already!) and we got photographed. Class came late as usual with quite a few turning up AFTER the entire event was over. Ah well. By the way, it's on CNA!
I wouldn't surmise the event as entertaining because I dislike extremely loud noises like drums banging loudly (makes me feel as though my heart's being constricted or something) and the dance performance was so...embarassing. Because the dancers consisted of a guy and two girls. (People say the guy's utterly interested in our course but took another course. Why am I telling you this?!)
Anyways, one of the girls gave the crowd quite the show when she had a wardrobe malfunction ala Janet Jackson. I have NO idea how it happened since she was in sports wear. (The guy was the odd one out in semi-formal wear). Seriously, the three of them need to practise more - especially the guy's popping. Honey, I've seen KIDS as young as ten perform better. (Twas an episode on Morning Live on KBS). Oh and get uniforms. Definitely. Or at LEAST wear something that ties together. Formalwear + sports wear? WTH?
Didn't take pictures of the event itself though - my cam was in my bag. Pity.
I didn't even look at the implemented plan for the park though - was busy watching EHB and WonderGirls + Big Bang perf.
Even managed to entice Dr Koh to watch - we watched the latest episode where the ballerina spun 300 times without getting dizzy and the laughing gas episode (the previous episode - my favourite).
SM needs to pay me for promoting the boys man. XD As if!
Ok, moving on, headed for Sakura restaurant in the park for the buffet lunch. Can't complain much other than the vegetarian beehoon was bland. At least it's free! *shameless cheapskate*
The Thai style seafood salad was awesome though. Tangy and not overly spicy, it was refreshing.
Headed off to Vivocity with Loy where I had to do something rather...embarassing. (In hindsight, it wasn't THAT bad) I just went up to the counter and asked for a Venti cup with a dome. XD Without buying anything - made me feel somewhat bad but the way the counterstaff handled me was just...creepy. Who the hell is that perky?! Maybe all that caffeine gets into one's head huh? Mental note to self: Do not overdrink coffee.
Oh god, I ABSOLUTELY forgot! I showed Loy FT Island's videos WITH subs. XD OH, oh, AND the bus we took from West Coast to Vivo got involved in a collision with a truck! The horror! The horror! Ok, so I was going more "OMG. Accident! I want to be kaypoh (nosey busybody)! Oh my god! See! See! Must take photos!"
It was the truck driver's fault anyways. Hey, first hand account no? And I actually took photos. :P Here you go. The truck had it bad though.
Anyways, we couldn't find Loy's gift so we went to Dhoby Ghaut where I spied this Jaejoong lookalike in SINGAPORE! It's practically impossible but I did. Same milky pale skin, same hair color, almost similar features (except more chinese) but short. And a Henry lookalike. I see Henry's a LOT nowadays. Why can't I see a Shiwon lookalike or a heechul lookalike?! Lol. Too bad I wasn't fast enough to stalk that guy.
Same thing occured in Dhoby Ghaut (not being able to find the gift) so we headed to Orchard before we went to Bugis - where we had the greatest adventure of our lives. *sic*
It was more intensely freaky since it was both our first time wandering into the alleyshops between Burger King and erm...this other shop? Oh god, we walked down this flight of stairs and this group of girls, who were smoking just glared at us. Scared the hell out of me, especially when we tried the OTHER exit. This time, oh god. The putrid smell of stale urine, the shocking sight of littered superglue. *shudders*
I guess I've been living under such sheltered conditions, I've not really encountered such stuff. It still shocks me.
Ok, moving on. Somehow, I found myself sipping coffee in Starbucks and my first somewhat smutty fic was born. I'm editting it so it'll be posted up very soon. I'm so darn nervous about the quality or pron. XD
I shall get to work on my other fics. But here's a couple of things I just HAVE to say:
1) Jamie Spears, pregnant at 16?
Somewhat expected and unbelievable at the same time. Ok, so maybe I lost the memo that she's cohabitting with her 19 yr old bf. I'm sorry but I'm just so incessed at the Spears's mother right now. Hell, even their dad played a part in this. It's so...so...god, I'm being so conservative but I just can't help it. At 16, you should still be in school, studying, crushing on guys etc, NOT getting a baby! I can't help but feel that it's a result of bad parenting. And I thought people getting married at 19 was bad.
2) Attention to F-list:
I AM NOT GOING TO LOCK MY FICS EVER.
When I DO write my NC-17 fic, I'll direct you to an upcoming comm I'm sharing with my bestie.
So I sincerely apologize to those who were in my flist and got cut without warning today.
I'm terribly sorry but I share personal information in my f-locked posts. It's a matter of security - those who got cut are those whose journals have no entries at all. I have no idea what you are like, who you are or even where you live even. So yeah, it perturbs and unsettles me that random strangers can read my f-locked stuff. I have no idea who you people are so that's why I had to do what I did. No offense or anything. :)

And i totally agree with you about Jamie Spears getting pregnant. Hardly an adult yet and now she has to take care of her own infant. What in the world man.
