First off, thank you to all who left a comment on my previous post. It helped to cheer me up a bit. :)

But they say the best remedy was to be with friends so that's what I did. But let's start with chronological order shall we? (Rhetorical question.)

On Friday afternoon, I was still mulling over my results when I got a message from Nat that she was coming down the following day. That let to excited and frantic calls between Tin and I. My senior thought I was high on something. lol. During lunchtime, I got locked out and I had to have my take away lunch on the staircase. T.T

I decided to go for the class dinner which started late. Barely half the class turned up but it was nice. Almost everyone's busy working so that was why some of us were late. We headed to Glutton's Bay, Esplanade. All the talk of good food was rubbish I tell you. First off, it's ridiculously overpriced hawker fare. Secondly, I've tasted much better. Bedok Corner, honey. It's my favourite place to eat nowadays. Well, more like takeaway.

Anywhos, to give you an idea of how expensive it was - $6 for a bloody plate of mee goreng (fried noodles), $6 for a prata set. And I was pissed after that. I mean really, you can get mee goreng for far less. Prata, Jln Kayu please! Moving on...I ordered seafood fried rice and I got served chicken fried rice. I wondered if the seller was like Jessica Simpson. ("I know it's tuna but it says chicken" in reference to Chicken of the Sea). I couldn't even be bothered to complain so I just ate. I was tired and famished afterall. It was not worth the 5 bucks.

Afterwards, we watched a few minutes of some Australian indie band performing for the Mosaic Music Festival before we left and camwhored along the Riverside. We hung out there, just talking until it was about eleven and we hurried to catch the last connecting trains back home.

It's funny when I was at the doorstep when my mum's message came in - "Where are you?"

I opened the door and said, "Here."

Made a possible itienary for Nat for the next few hours later. Met Nat at Dhoby Ghaut and Nat's mum before we headed up to Burger King to await Tin's arrival. We played some SJ songs and watched a couple of performances and talked during the wait. The three of us later headed to the "Korean Mise" (I don't quite know the store's real name). I spied a Kangteuk mousepad and was disappointed there were no more FT Island posters. Xiao Jie says she'll contact Tin if there's any news on SJ concert goods. *crosses fingers*

We walked in the Istana Park on the way to Cine so I could have seen [profile] summerstrings without knowing. lol.

At Cine, we went to the Korean market and I spied the rice cakes Tin calls "Henry's cheeks." I'm tempted to try and whip the dish up but we shall see if time permits. I still haven't updated the PSG website. *facepalms* Afterwards, we headed to Kino and Cold Storage. We had fun just talking. At least, I hope we did. Singapore's too boring, Nat! Next time, it's Malaysia bound where there's more things to do. Like spazzing over where SJ stood for the photobook shoot.

And Tin's got ABS!  XD (Click on the picture on the right to get a clearer picture why...)

Nat had to leave early sadly so we couldn't bring her down to the dbsk photo-taking. Nat, I must say that your spoken English is very wow. Impressive...very impressive...but you are not a Jedi yet! (Anyone who figures out who said this get...I dunno, a cookie or something)

Okay, so I'm easily impressed with well articulated and enunciated english so shoot me. I'm terribly sorry that we couldn't go anywhere interesting. But I hoped you had a pleasant time. AND look at the delighful handsewn kitty Nat gave to Tin and me!

It's so sweet! Mine's the purple one. I LOVE IT!

Afterwards, Tin and I boarded the train towards Esplanade. Along the way, we conducted a psychology test to see if there was any difference in people's reactions if a guy carried a bunch of roses compared to a girl. (Ah...it brings me back memories of walking down Orchard in high heels). Turns out people try not to stare IF a girl carries roses but if it was a guy, they didn't bat an eyelid. Weird huh? I can't be bothered to dissect the finding so up to your imagination to come up with a possible explaination. :)

The DBSK photo-taking session was rather easy to spot. Red balloons and everything. I shall publicly apologise to Tin for screaming into her ears. Gotta practise for SJ's concert right? We took some photos with Choonmin. There were other fanboys there so I was very very pleased. Except they looked rather young. Well, except for one who looked uncannily like Yiwen. Had to do a triple, quadruple take to ensure it wasn't her. The rest went to some Korean restaurant while Tin and I went exploring. We went to visit Ma-chan, camwhored and headed towards Lau Pa Sat.

I think I can explain why there's little business there. It's effin scary, ridiculous and creepy to have a tout following you around EVERYWHERE, like a stalker. WTF is all I can say. I'm tempted to write a letter to the papers and asking if something should be done about these touts. I understand if you want to promote your stall, get customers etc but it's strange how it's the Malay stalls that have touts. Nowhere else. Or maybe they didn't approach us. Nevertheless, touts need to be gone. I'd like to look around and buy food in peace thank you very much. What little want to eat there dissipated instantly when the guy started stalking us everywhere. Horrid experience.

We later decided to go to the airport on a whim. Had the most awesome thai beef noodles at T1 terminal. After that, we took the skytrain to T3. The skytrain's very reminiscent of Transformers. Whilst exploring T3, I bumped into my relatives. What a darn small world. *facepalms*

This is what ELFs look like if they got turned into trolleys.

And I met Selian. She works at T3! <3

After buying some snacks, we headed home via MRT.

All in all, it was an awesome weekend period. Great company always makes one forget and lift one's mood up tremendously.

I love you f-list and IRL friends! <3

And no worries. I had fun :3

It's just nice spending time with friends. Like you said, Great company always makes one forget and lift one's mood up tremendously. :D

And the fanmeet is kinda amusing but I would have died in the crowd cause large crowds make me nervous and stutter more than i do when I'm overly excited/happy :D;;

AND I'M SUPER HAPPY THAT YOU LIKE THE CAT <3

IT WASN'T THAT HARD. HOW MANY MOVIES HAVE JEDI ANYWAY?

Also. Help. I need to critique your itunes meme, but it's not going to be pretty. Or nice. Find some way to catch me in private. And remember to warn me is I'm going too harsh.

In other words, uni applications are being bitches for springing essays on me.

Psfh. I'm so sorry I didn't call or sms you on the day of the results. Stored your number in my old, now spoilt phone therefore, I do NOT have your number woman.

And bleh. Go ahead and critique. :) Go harsh, I don't care.

What did you expect from uni applications? Be thankful you didn't have to do a video like glo. *is thankful for going on the easy path - going straight to 2nd/final year!*
