Damn it. I've been so hyped about baking on Saturday when my mum dropped the bombshell on me - "Just buy a damn cake. Don't bake". Truthfully, I'm rather pissed. It's not like I don't know how to bake right? Damn it. Goodbye red velvet cake...T.T I'm tempted to ignore what she said and just bake. I mean it's cheaper AND gives one self-gratification.

And then I find out from a friend concerning last year's writing competition. Didn't win (like duh) but it would have been nice, NUS, if you had just emailed us about the results? Bah, I'm not sure if I want to participate again this year. But I'm gonna post my entries soon! Maybe on the weekends. And yes, they sucked big time so I expected it. :) I'm just glad that I can 'reclaim' my writings back. lol.

I just wish tomorrow won't come and it's straight off to Saturday. And I'm still pissed off about the cake. I mean, come on. The recipe doesn't even ask for a lot! Here, you be the judge and tell me.

I think that recipe might be trouble, especially if you don't have a mixer. Your mom has a point there. But yes, you should try it if you want.

Friday sucks for me. There's make-up lesson, which drags till 7pm. Don't give up! (that coming from a girl who knows nuts about cake baking)
