Oh god, oh god.

The cake turned out horrible - i only did one layer to test and bleh. Had to throw everything away. The frosting I found was runny and clumpy and gah, I feel so horrible. Ah well. I might as well go bake my usual cake - the one I always do for Hari Raya. It'll make me far happier. God, what the hell was I thinking?! T.T And pictures? Forget it. Let's just say it's a mess? (Truthfully, I forgot to take pictures!) XD

Onwards! I'm no longer in the mood to bake cos I kinda lost my recipe. All I can find is my chocolate sponge cake and I don't want to make a choc sponge cake as tempting as it is. Sigh...why did my red velvet turned out almost black (I'll use less red coloring next time)? And it was so weird! burnt on the sides and barely cooked in the middle. And it was dry. T.T Sigh...

Awwie~ if I were you, I wouldn't have the courage to continue baking if that happened. ._.

I probably fail at baking more than anyone else here. I feel you pain. -pounds chest-

You possibly need to adjust the time the cake spent in the oven, and the temperature. Seems like a classic case of nuked cake. Too high temperature = burnt outsides. Too little time = uncooked insides.

I actually allowed the cake to cook longer than stated but still turned out the way it was so I gave up on doing the cake. One day, I'll try again. Just...not so soon.
