So the final IT fair of the year is here (strangely early if you ask me - should have been in Dec) so I headed down with Reg. Other than spotting what could have been an ex-classmate - I called her name but she didn't respond although I'd never know for sure because the hall is ridiculously noisy. It was enjoyable, particularly when we got somewhat lost in our quest to find MPH.

Never ever go to a bookstore and head straight for the guides that read "Making Out in_*insert language*_. By never, I mean, do look for it. Because it's ridiculously hilarious! I grabbed the Japanese, Korean, Thai, Tagalog & Arabic ones and flipped through a couple of pages. You know how hard it is not to laugh at peculiar insults?

I must warn you though that past this point, it's all rather R- rated. (But I know you'd want to know too).

The equivalent of the insult 'fuck off' actually meant ' kick penis' literally. Peculiar, I know. And how the Korean word for 'bitch' seems to be super long.

Or how 'imma' is Korean for asshole. Now, I doubt I'll be able to call my relative her pet name without giggling. God, this proves why you should always be careful about shortened forms of names. *nods* I can't help but giggle at the thought of everyone calling her pet name.

Of course, me being the retarded dork that I am, I actually decided on a whim to exchange insults with Reg with her using Jap curses and me with the Korean 'guidebook' in hand. It was rather hilarious, considering how we had to keep our voices down and all.

But what really really made me laugh was the fact that 'lovemaking' session. From the start to the end, it read like a really really bad porno script. Here's some examples that I can remember:

Remove your __________. (After which was a list of clothings. Panties, btw, is actually gender neutral in Korean. So there's no men's briefs or boxers - they'd have men's panties. Oh, romanization, you joker! )

I want to touch your _________. (After which was a list of supposedly helpful body parts.)

And then you have your usual 'harder, faster'.

But what was the icing on the cake was...

"Will you marry me?"

"I have a husband." (Oh, drama! Like what a typical Korean tearjerker, romcom would have)

"I'm moving to America. Will you join me?"

"I want to stay in Korea."

"Thank you." (I guess they literally went for the 'wham!bham! thank you maam' approach)

Just thinking about it makes me want to laugh. Who seriously buys/writes this kind of books?! Ok wait - I just realised the possibilities like role-playing. Although I think it'd be hilarious nevertheless if you're having sex and you're holding the book in your hand and trying to 'translate' what you want to say asap. XD

My brain just broke.

In fandom related news, I've kinda had a falling out with a lot of my fandoms. (although Reg says it's more of a fading away) Don't ask why - I can't explain either. I just keep up with the news when it's on the usual gossip sites.

I wonder why the hell JYP named his new boyband 2pm. There's 2am and now this? What's next? The other 22 hours? XD The new boybands that pop up nowadays have peculiar names. *shakes head* I wonder when SM would be releasing Super Senior. XD
